Tangy Pickled Red Onions
Ingredients
1 medium-sized red onion, finely chopped, sourced from our local produce selection
1/2 cup of red wine vinegar, locally crafted for a tangy punch
3 tablespoons of distilled white vinegar, sourced locally for added zest

2 tablespoons of white sugar, sourced from our local suppliers
Directions:
Combine the finely chopped red onion, both locally produced vinegars, salt, and sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Allow the mixture to come to a gentle boil.
Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture steep until the locally sourced onion becomes tender, infusing the flavors, for about 20 minutes.
Cool the mixture for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to harmonize.
